Christmas time is here

This past year just flew by... maybe since Brian and I haven't seemed to be home much in 2010. We are looking forward to 2011, and maybe being home a little more... maybe. After Brian finished up school, we left for California for a month! Julia was such an angel both ways of the flight- I was so relieved... and surprised. It was so awesome to be to home with my whole family- we haven't been together for Christmas in 6 years! Okay, real quick some of the highlights: being able to enjoy my parents awesome fixed up house, getting pedicures, playing games, shopping, eating so much good food, cousins being able to play in the big backyard together, getting to go to the temple a few times, seeing my CA nieces, meeting my sister's new dog Pierre, beautiful necklaces from Nat's Mom, getting my hair did, finding and playing with old treasures from the attic (barbies, dolls, pictures, wedding dresses:) watching Julia and the other kids open presents Christmas morning (especially Delani- oh my Bieber fever!) seeing old friends, etc etc.
Lowlight: Some frankandbeans stole my video camera out of my luggage, making me lose 8 months of footage of my baby (first steps, bday, uuugggghhhhhhh!) It seriously makes me just want to cry- I don't want to forget anything and I feel like this person stole my memories. So with that said, these past few months:
-Julia understands everything! It's crazy how one day they just get it. "Bring that to Mommy!" "Go get Daddy upstairs!" It's so fun to be able to communicate with her.
-stopped biting, now she just tries to claw your face off when she's mad at you. Much better. I am TERRIFIED for her to go into nursery in two weeks- she's going to claw someone's eye out. Friends in G3 ward, I promise I'm not a bad Mom.
-still loves Yo Gabba Gabba, and that stupid blanket (we don't go ANYWHERE without it, in fear she might have a baby mental breakdown) but has added dollies, strollers, and balls to the list.
-she loves to make animal sounds. Her favorites? Cats, dogs, monkey, horses... she has the most amazing neigh. Haha I just heard it in my head.
-says 3 words: blankie, shoes, and pretty. Hey at least she's finally starting to talk. FINALLY! I was starting to worry. She's such a nut and I love her.

The man who makes my day

You were probably expecting a picture of my husband or something? :) This crazy old man just puts a smile on my face. He is THE FRIENDLIEST person ever- always telling me, "How ya doing mam?" Or giving me a peace sign or a wave while he goes and does his carazy dance running. I always look forward to giving him a peace sign right back at him. He's one of the perks of G-ville, and I sure am going to miss him when I'm gone...here's his loony story
PS- I have every intention of updating for Christmas, Julia etc... I just have been lazy! I promise to do it soon!
